Special traffic rules :

  • Straight through traffic always has priority. Except if otherwise indicated.
  • Roundabouts have different priority rules. Pay  attention to the signs and arrows on the ground. For example, you have to stop at the 1st roundabout coming from the airport in the direction of Willemstad, and also when you are already on the roundabout for the cars coming from Westpunt.

Conditions :

  • Price is per 24 hours
  • Renter must be in possession of a valid driver’s license.
  • Security deposit of 200 euros (or $220) payable in cash on arrival.
  • This 200 euro is the maximum cost if you have caused the damage or if the perpetrator is unknown.
  • Costs fully paid by renter if damage caused by driving under the influence, without a driver’s license or bad driving behavior.
  • Follow-up costs at the expense of the renter if damage caused by driving on with a flat tire or ignoring warning lights / signals
  • In case the intended rental car is not available due to damage, another car in the same price range will be rented in consultation with the renter or the renter will be reimbursed the amount of the car for the days without a car.
